Although it is not really wise to use it without slock behaviour
The visibility can be obscured by a notification or any other window that can pop up. This can happen from a slow starting application, e.g. libreoffice.
Slock/lockx behaviour can now be selected with flags. Default behaviour can be changed at compile time.
When called from xmonad the keyboard can be alreadyGrabbed, so we have to wait until we can grab it. It is basically busy-waiting but i didn't found another method.

now it is an effective screen locker although unlocking requires a switch to a VC
