Hello,

I'm totally new to Arch Linux and paktahn, so please bear with me.

Whenever I try to run pak, I get the

##### [13:02:41] # [dare2be@schroedinger-junior:~] #####
$ pak

==> Attempt to call an undefined alien function.

error. Needless to say, pak doesn't work. I'm running pacman v. 4.0.2:

##### [13:00:29] # [dare2be@schroedinger-junior:~] #####
$ pacman -V

 .--.                  Pacman v4.0.2 - libalpm v7.0.2

and paktahn v. 0.9.1-1:

##### [13:00:31] # [dare2be@schroedinger-junior:~] #####
$ pacman -Qs paktahn
local/paktahn 0.9.1-1
    The kick-ass package manager for Arch Linux!

I even tried setting up config.lisp (as suggested on some forum) so that pak would generate some meaningful log:

##### [13:05:12] # [dare2be@schroedinger-junior:~] #####
$ cat .paktahn/config.lisp
(in-package :pak)

(setf *on-error* :backtrace)

but this didn't change a thing.

Please tell me, how can I help debug this issue further and get paktahn to work :)

You are using a pretty old version of paktahn that lacks support for the latest libalpm+pacman. Please upgrade it! :)
The latest version is 0.9.7 and, if it helps, there is a precompiled x86_64 binary here: http://redlinernotes.com/docs/
