I'm not sure if this is a reoccurrence of a previous bug since it looks very similar:
#1773

Tried a few curved objects and the gcode looks like this once per turn 馃憤
G1 X19.318 Y36.127 E0.00835 ; normal code
M204 S3000
G1 Z0.664 F12000.000
G1 X19.496 Y36.032 F12000.000
M204 S3000
G1 Z0.665 X19.437 Y36.346 E0.00864 F600.000 ; good code resumes

My acceleration is only 3000 on all 3 axis so its quadrupling it, jerking up and across and leaving a tiny, but noticeable, gap at approximately the same position...

Windows 7
Tried in 1.0.1 and latest 1.1.2 Exp...

Great work Alex!!! :)

I also tried with the default settings on a 20x200mm tube and noticed something else, there is a gap of nearly a whole layer about 20mm up... I tried swapping settings to see if I could change things without success.

@traveltrousers, there's no STL file at that link鈥 can you fix it? Thank you!

Very interesting issue. Basically it shows that layers don't necessarily have aligned vertices. Without this assumption, we should either spiralize the entire G-code stream instead of doing it layer-by-layer, or add aligned vertices.

I thought perhaps it was a problem/issue with the model or some other setting but if it happens on a simple tube there is something else going on. Incidentally Cura slices it perfectly so at least I've been able to continue prototyping my model....
