PCSC framework limited to 16 opened context #76

Summary:
It is not possible to do more than 16 SCardConnect() calls within the same PCSC context.
It is problematic for some application using a high number of contexts like Citrix client on Mac OS X.

Steps to Reproduce:

  • Compile the attached program
  • run it

Expected Results:
pcsc-lite on GNU/Linux can now go up to 200 by default

Actual Results:
PCSC version on Mac OS X is limited to 16.

output is:
$ ./pcsc
hContext: 16975051

Regression:
No. This limitation is present since the begenning.

Notes:
This problem is already fixed upstream in pcsc-lite since version 1.6.0 (May 2010)

  • Status changed from new to closed
  • Resolution set to R1 - Fixed

This bug is now fixed in OS X Yosemite (10.10)
