Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops (and +) Online - Setup Guide

Welcome to this setup guide for Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops (MPO) and Portable Ops Plus (MPO+), covering the following platforms: PSP, PS Vita, and PPSSPP. This GitHub repository aims to provide clear instructions for playing these games in the best conditions possible.

Choose a tutorial to get started depending on the device:

• PSP
• PS Vita (Adrenaline)
• PPSSPP (emulator)

Note: This guide does not include any game files. You must legally dump your own copies of games from the original UMD/PSN version.

General Requirements for PPSSPP (emulator)

• A copy of MPO or MPO+ in ISO/CSO format (legally dumped only) any regions
• A compatible device (or a PC/smartphone for PPSSPP)

General Requirements for PSP/PS Vita (real hardware)

• A PSP/PS Vita on CFW/HEN
• A copy of MPO or MPO+ in ISO/CSO/UMD format (legally dumped only or original UMD disc) any regions
• A Memory Card large enough to store the games, save data & plugins (for PSP and PS Vita users)
• Plugin savempo – A Plugin compatible for PSP / PS Vita / PPSSPP (Emulator) That is obligatory to install for patche the games URL's and Binary check and future updates for MPO/MPO+

If you have any issues installing/downloading the 9 new maps of MPO+

Just delete the files and add them into your correct folder : New Maps Download

Install them right here :

• For PPSSPP : PPSSPP/memstick/PSP/PLUGINS/savempo/
• For PSP : ms0:/seplugins/
• For PSVita (using Vita Shell) : ux0:/pspemu/seplugins/
