Hey! Thank you for doing that. I would love to marry this with snapd-git package. I have the basics done in github.com/snapcore/snapd inside packaging/arch directory. I'm too tired today but let's catch up tomorrow and if you want, let's update both :-)

Sure. FWIW, I think snapd-xdg-open is useful on its own (without snapd), as it can be used with any containers (or generally desktop programs running in different execution contexts but sharing a DBus session). In my case I'm using it with bubblewrap.
