}

Works for me:

$ mono run/Niecza.exe -e 'for 1..6 { .print; }'
123456$

Is it possible you were using p6eval? It's running an older version as the updating hasn't been ported to the new server yet.

jaffa4 commented Apr 15, 2012

yes, I use p6eval
and a binary that I download

It doesn't work for me on Windows using 848c49b178....
Nor the latest build.

That is, my test is

niecza> for 1..6 { .print }
Nil

Nor Mac... (this is 87bc0df)

niecza> for 1..6 { .print }
Nil

Ditto for .say. But as a separate script,

for 1..6
{
.print;
}

works fine.

The separate script (copied over from OS X to ensure no line-ending issues) works fine on Windows. (That's with the latest code in github.)
