Audio Hack Day, Campus Party Europe, 23rd-24th August 2012

Here is an overview of Audio Hack Day Campus Party Europe

What to bring

  • You'll need an ID or passport to get into Campus Party
  • Bring your hacking tools of choice: laptop, chargers, phones (to hack!), ethernet cables, VGA adaptors for the demos, toolbox, arduinos, synths, audio material, your imagination.
  • There is no wifi at Campus Party so be prepared! There are plenty of ethernet cables around but you can also bring yours and any ethernet adaptors you might need to connect your devices.
  • You might also want to have a look at the Campus Party checklist.
  • To submit a hack idea or your final hack submission you will need a github account. If you don't have any get one now!

  • Start announcement: Thursday 23rd August at 10a.m. at the Michelangelo Stage. All audio hack day participants should gather there (look for the SoundCloud banner).
  • Contrary to what the Campus Party schedule says, API presentations will only start at 10:30a.m. at Cross Space 2.
  • Hacking will start around noon and will go on until Friday noon (24 hours!). We'll try to seat all in one corner of the main seating area close to the Michelangelo stage and will hang the SoundCloud banner there for others to find us.
  • Submit your hack on the wiki by Friday noon.
  • Demos (for those that submitted a hack) will start at 2p.m. at the Michelangelo stage.
