Research potential rides to the moon, considering. Payload should be hosted on a commercial based lander within specified resource allocations from the host of mass, power, communications, and thermal conditioning capability)

  • their landing sites
  • expected launch date
  • landing vehicle capabilities
  • ride sharing cost
  • assets available to payloads that are provided by the bus (e.g. power)
  • intended survivability for various conditions (e.g. radiation storms, lunar night)
  • constraints on mass and power budgets

Use this worksheet for the trade study.

I uploaded the payload user guides for Astrobotic and PT Scientists and a screenshot of Moon Express' MX-1 lander capabilities to the "mission engineering" folder. Team Indus and SpaceIL don't strongly signal their intent to fly payloads by other entities beyond their current partners.
