As Director of User Experience for Sparkbox, Drew is a steadfast voice for creating usable and useful work. With background in design, content strategy, and project management, Drew capitalizes on a love for people and content to drive projects toward clear communication. He has made a living on empathy, charm, and an uncanny ability for telling bad jokes.
Philip is an experienced frontend designer and developer at Sparkbox with a passion for web design, HTML, and CSS. He has helped teach and train many designers and developers through the Sparkbox apprenticeship programs, the Build Right workshop series, and local events in his hometown. Philip is often found writing on the Sparkbox Foundry or on his own blog and is always looking for a good book to read.
Rob is a developer at Sparkbox in Dayton, Ohio. He spends his days writing JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and building tools that help make the Internet a better place for everyone. Rob also co-leads GemCityJS, a local JavaScript meetup. When not at work, Rob can usually be found hanging out with his wife and kids, building Node powered robots, or out somewhere on a bike.
As Creative Director at Sparkbox, Jeremy helps the frontend design team craft compelling web concepts to meet Sparkbox's diverse client needs. While constantly refining the web design process, he and the Sparkbox team believe in creating content-driven websites that are both useable and beautiful on any device. Jeremy’s design work has won several awards and appeared in numerous design blogs and publications including HOW, Wired and Print. In addition to writing for the Sparkbox Foundry and .net magazine, Jeremy has spoken at large industry events such as HOW Design Live and SXSW.
Catherine builds responsive websites up and down the stack, focusing recently on a single, enterprise-level design system. Catherine has a strong passion for education and works closely with the Sparkbox Apprenticeship Program. She's a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Concepts (CPACC) and a member of the "Accessibility Task Force" at Sparkbox. Catherine's other hobbies include reading, video games, tabletop games, drawing, and making cat jokes. Twitter (and all the other things) as @catheraaine.
Kasey has been building the web for the past 7 years. Starting out as a web/print designer, Kasey quickly discovered she loves to build things with code. Since joining Sparkbox in 2015, her career has focused on accessible, frontend development and building usable design systems. Passion projects include creating girlscancode.io, later reorganizing the curriculum for a wider audience via a Library Workshop. With many years of experience in the software development and support industry, Rob has gained valuable expertise that brings a unique perspective to web development. Rob started his career working on enterprise research solutions, then entered the financial industry with several national banks as a security consultant. He has successfully served as a senior consultant for banking and financial products. Rob’s technical expertise and his drive to use the best technology available make him a crucial member of the Sparkbox team.

His passion is distilling the core message and activities of a company into a single touchpoint. Jeremy’s expertise is crafting brands, standards manuals, and websites.
