SparkFun Qwiic Dual Solid State Relay Kit (KIT-16833)
The SparkFun Quad Solid State Relay Kit comes with four solid state relays you can assemble on to a single board allowing you to control all of them from a microcontroller via I2C with the Qwiic Ecosystem. The relays are rated for 40A @28-380VAC allowing you to harness some serious high voltage power from simple I2C commands from your favorite microcontroller.
The Qwiic Quad Solid State Relay comes requires some basic assembly to attach the relays and connect your AC load. It uses the simple Qwiic interface. No soldering, no voltage translation, no figuring out which pin is SDA or SCL, just plug and go!
Note: Controlling high voltage (110/220VAC) requires certain precautions. A beginner can do it but if you're wary of working with high voltage, you may want to consider the pre-made IoT Power Relay. It's not controlled via I2C but the IoT Power Relay contains shielding to prevent accidental shock.
