You can clone with
HTTPS or Subversion.
I have an app target in OS X which is signed by a dev certificate. The app is also sandboxed. When I build & archive the target without the dev certificate and update the app using the sparkle prompt, it updates smoothly.
However, when I update the signed & sandboxed version of the app, Sparkles throws the error.

@ekaansh did you ever get this figured out? I'm having the same issue.

You need to look at #363 and the yahooxpc branch. If I understand correctly this will all work properly in 1.9

@ttscoff no worries - only yesterday was I wondering how you were dealing with this issue with Marked 2 as you have gone sandboxed.
OK, mystery solved. We're going to add sandbox support soon.
