Hello, I am Borewit,

I am professional software engineer, writing open source software in my free time.

My aim is to deliver high quality software component, and share those with large community.

I started with music-metadata an audio metadata parser, which is my main project and the center of gravity of many other projects I manage or contribute to. To boost the quality and re-usability released its sub components like strtok3 and peek-readable.

I developed add-ons, like @tokenizer/http, an HTTP range based client, to be able to download those parts of audio file, which are required to extract the metadata.

A similar plugin for the Amazon S3 cloud storage: @tokenizer/s3.

I contribute to file-type, a component I use in music-metadata to determine the audio file type.

I have done quit some work on webtorrent-desktop which is using music-metadata.
