Slovak by birth, Belgian by law, European at heart. Loves travel, philosophy, creative writing, natural sciences (physics and astronomy in particular), the Web (Drupal and the whole world of open-source), and pretty much anything intriguing.

Graduated from Technical University of Košice (Slovakia) in 1994 and from Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) in 1998. Worked as a researcher and web architect at the Union of International Associations in Brussels between 2000-2012. From February 2012 to 2017 active as a Drupal Technical Lead for Hewlett-Packard.

ICT architect at the Flemish Government since 2018.

As of April 2017 Tomas expands Drupal web consultancy services through his company Vacilando BVBA.
