How my work benefits you
You may have already benefitted from one of my blog posts, tutorials, conference-talks or workshops, which are regularly featured on Hacker News, Twitter and in newsletters. I cover topics like: Linux, Golang, OSS, Docker, Kubernetes, Raspberry Pi, Serverless and Cloud computing.
As a CNCF Ambassador, I practice building OSS communities and helping contributors grow and thrive through relationship.
OpenFaaS is used in production by dozens of companies
I also lead and curate a number of Open Source developer tools such as openfaas, inlets, k3sup, arkade, and derek, which you can view on my profile.
What do you get?
All sponsors get access to a premium email newsletter called Insiders Updates. Each week I'll email you a digest of all my OSS projects covering news, tutorials, events and promotions. You don't have to specifically use OpenFaaS in production to take part, although you really should if you do.
Let me offer you a free gift of two recent Insiders Updates:
- Insiders Update: 23rd May - How and when to use cool tech at work
- Insiders Update: 15th May - 15th May - How to make PRs and influence maintainers
Qualifying tiers also get complete access to all past Insiders Updates over at The Treasure Trove - log in with your GitHub account to access every update I've written at any time.
What am I creating?
Hi I'm the founder of the OpenFaaS project, an open-source platform that brings a portable Serverless experience to developers anywhere. OpenFaaS has become one of the leading projects in this space and has helped form an industry. Within the project there's been over 250 contributors from all-around the world and we now have > 21k GitHub stars
I believe open-source should stay open and that we need to sustain both people and projects. If you do too, then subscribe to my newsletter via GitHub Sponsors today
Why do I need you to subscribe?
It is a full-time job to build, lead, maintain, and grow the project and for this reason, with support from my wife and family I decided to quit my job. Unfortunately GitHub stars do not pay the bills and end-user companies also don't contribute financially.
So I founded OpenFaaS Ltd to offer cloud native consulting and support services for OpenFaaS, Open Source, and Kubernetes. The more funds we can raise through sponsorship on GitHub, then the more I can focus on OSS, tutorials, and community, and returning value to you.
