Headcode CMS is a 100% open-source headless CMS. It does not require a separate CMS server or cloud service. Simply embed it into your Next.js 13 project via "npm install" - configure Supabase for database, storage, and Auth - and you are DONE! Future versions will support additional front-end frameworks and cloud services.

Who developed it?
Markus is a freelance web developer and Shopify consultant. Together with Inge, they traveled through Asia to try workation. During countless discussions, they had the idea to bring the simplicity and reusability of Shopify themes to the latest front-end technologies (Next.js 13). Their goal was a fully open-source software that connects existing tools and technologies. Since then, they invested many hours in developing their dream.

In our spare time, we developed a fully functional version that includes all the features we want in version 1.0. But there is still a lot to do to reach a point where we can release it to the public. We want to dedicate more of our time to Headcode CMS to speed up development and release it as soon as possible.
