Jay Xu opened BATCH-1986 and commented

Spring batch (and Spring batch admin) depends on a lot of libs defined in maven. When I am trying to deploy batch (admin) with my proj using Spring 3.2.2 (and a lot of other libs), I need to exclude many libs in maven configuration or my proj fail to start

e.g.
*batch
spring-core
spring-beans
slf4j as discussed in BATCHADM-145

*batch admin
ehcache-core
commons-lang

Pls upgrade the dependent libs or, mark the optional ones "provided"

Affects: 2.1.9
