David J. M. Karlsen opened BATCH-1530 and commented

When declaring the job-repository as:
<batch:job-repository />
I get:

Caused by: org.springframework.beans.factory.parsing.BeanDefinitionParsingException: Configuration problem: Configuration problem: Id is required for element 'job-repository' when used as a top-level tag

Which is kinda weird - as it has a name, but not an id.

Declaring it as
<batch:job-repository id="job-repository"/>

solves the problem.

Affects: 2.1.0
