s-b-starter-jetty fails with an exception when used w/ Spring Data JPA #6692

That's not how you should do it. Marking it as provided still add it to your classpath. You must exclude it, see the documentation. Not sure if that will solve your issue but please try that first. |
I can reproduce this by modifying our Data REST sample. The EL API dependency is missing from the Jetty starter. |

, i use a Spring Data JPA repository to write data to a datasource. it fails with the following exception. Works fine for Undertow and Tomcat. App has:spring-boot-starter-web
