The current Java config supports specifying only a single base package in which to scan for entities. The current XML config doesn't appear to support specifying any base packages. They need to support the specification of multiple base packages.

See (at least):

  • spring-cassandra-1.0.xsd attributeGroup "cassandra-repository-attributes"
  • CassandraRepositoryConfigurationExtension
  • AbstractSpringDataCassandraConfiguration.getEntityBasePackage()
  • AbstractSpringDataCassandraConfiguration.getInitialEntitySet()

Affects: 1.0 M1 (Dijkstra)

This should also include support for type-safe means of achieving the same via "Class<?>[] getEntityBasePackageClasses()" on AbstractSpringDataCassandraConfiguration, similar to @EnableCassandraRepositories#basePackageClasses().

Further, @EnableCassandraRepositories should be enhanced to include both "String[] entityBasePackages()" & "Class<?>[] entityBasePackageClasses()"
