You already support Hibernate, OpenJPA & EclipseLink. DataNucleus deserves support, too

Affects: 1.1 M1, 1.0.2, 1.1 RC1, 1.1 GA, 1.2 M1

What exactly is not working with DataNucleus? SD JPA is designed to work with any JPA provider. The explicit support we had to build in here and there was because we needed to work around quirks of the implementations. Actually we would like to get rid of these parts of the codebase as soon as these quirks are removed.

So would you mind trying SD JPA with DataNucleus and report any issues you face?

Closing due to inactivity. DataNucleus should be supported out of the box if it adheres to the JPA. No additional required features to support DataNucleus have been broad up so I am closing this as works as designed. Feel free to re-open in case there's something that needs to be added
