Sam Brannen opened SPR-10661 and commented

Status Quo

Spring Framework 4.0's nightly performance builds are failing since the jmxmp protocol is not available by default.

See SPR-PERF-39 for an example of such a failing build.

Deliverables

  1. As previously done for Java 1.5 and 1.6 JDKs, please install jmxremote_optional.jar in the JDK 1.8 JVM used for Spring performance builds.
    • See #12748 for details on what's needed.

Affects: 4.0 M2, 4.2 RC1

hi Sam, I've copied jmxremote_optional.jar /opt/java/jdk/Sun/jdk1.8.0/jre/lib/ext/. Can you let me know if that is not working?

Trevor Marshall,

This is happening again for recent Performance builds for the Spring Framework. See build #402 for an example.

Can you please repeat what you've done before to fix this problem?

Thanks!

Sam

I've copied to jmxremote_optional-1.0.1_04-b58.jar /opt/java/jdk/Sun/8.0/jre/lib/ext/ on each of the w2s2-buildorgXX build agents, and on all the local agents as well. I upgraded JDK 8.0 to latest jdk1.8.0_25 at the same time.

A note was put on each server so that hopefully this gets carried forward in future JDK upgrades.
