Its would be wonderful, if spring can develop some eclipse (STS) plugin to generate Java configuration from existing bean configuration xml as well as converting existing web.xml to java based configuration.

Nowadays xml configuration is adding too much confusion on what tags to be used and not to be used, what replaces what and so on. It would be better the plugin can handle this kind of miss configuration as well
