Juergen Hoeller I wanted to double check that updating to Reactor Bismuth-M2 is alright from your perspective before merging #1456 To me this makes sense since Spring IO Platform is now using Bismuth-M2 and thus many of the other projects have updated.

Does this sound ok?

I've gone ahead and merged it since I don't think there is any good reason not to upgrade and others already have.
