Tokenizer class uses the ch == 0 to check whether this expression reaches end, making it is impossible to use \0 in Spring EL like following:

#{#str?.split('\0')}

Affects: 4.3.11, 5.0 GA

Thanks for raising this! Fixed through a larger revision of our Tokenizer implementation which turned out to have a few more quirks (including a double process() invocation!)
