The member variables of XStreamMarshaller are private, so it is difficult to subclass to introduce custom behavior. Could you please make the member variables protected instead? In particular, I need to access the streamDriver member variable.

I am trying to create pretty XML output with indentation, the same as the filer for #635. To do so, I would like to extend #635

Sorry I meant to say I would like to extend XStreamMarshaller, not #635 ;)
