unknown flag: --project-directory #364

After following all steps https://academy.spryker.com/learn/course/248/play/1959/spryker-demo-shop-setup-with-docker-on-linux
every step works smoothly except:

when running docker/sdk up
it shows:

--> DEVELOPMENT MODE
unknown flag: --project-directory

OS: Linux fedora

The problem arises because GitHub actions think I’m trying to run docker commands and must be using an older version of the Docker CLI.
my fix was to change command to use docker-compose instead of docker compose:
