I'm exploiting an SQL injection where i can manually use UNION technique. However. SQLMAP only detects the boolean based blind and the based blind because the server always return the data in a bas464 encoded form. From other issues i i see that tamper plugins can not modify the response but only the request and that is unlknown if such feature is planned.

So i would like to ask, at which point of the code of SQLMAP i can look to manually decode the responses.

Sorry, there is no such support nor I guess that there will be. This kind of cases are rare and as you've noticed, at least some other SQLi techniques are working.
