Add additional tabs to devtools to support further communication channels #32

This is rather a question than an issue. I am considering adding support for debugging Bluetooth LE connections using Pony Debugger. In order to not clutter the network tab, I'd like to add another tab to the DevTools. Adding tabs doesn't seem to be a hard thing to do (see http://developer.chrome.com/extensions/devtools.panels.html), however, I fail to see how I could register a Chrome extension with the version of Chrome DevTools that PonyDebugger downloads. Can anyone provide some pointers?

A good way to experiment with this is to see if this would work out of the box would be to find the protocol definition (ie. something in the same format at Inspector.json), and run parser.go and parser_types.go (in ObjC/generators) on it. I'm unsure how the extension API works so I don't know if this would work.

It also might be an issue to make it gracefully degrade, as multiple clients can connect to a ponyd endpoint, some that have the plugin, and some that don't.

At the moment I'm marking this at wontfix because it doesn't seem feasible at the moment. If you make some progress on this, make another ticket though!
