Development

• Install Ruby and Bundler
• Clone this repository and run bundle install within the directory that you cloned this repository into
• Run bundle exec middleman server, and then visit http://localhost:4567/ in your browser. See this page for more info.

Contributing

When gathering data, make an effort to only use sources that are either from within the industry itself or are from an unbiased third-party. Pro-vegan websites should be avoided when sourcing information.

Some good sources:

• USDA Economics, Statistics and Market Information System (the NASS reports in particular)
• FAOSTAT for world-wide data (use Download Data or the classic site)
• EPA Ag 101
• Eurostat
• CBS StatLine (Netherlands)
