Unnecessary escape character: \A no-useless-escape #981

In this case I want to remove all symbols in the first line. But I get no-useless-escape. why this error is showing up ?

example outlet ++77 Outlet--

outletName.replace(/[^a-zA-Z0-9]+/g, '_').replace(/(\A_|_$)/, '')

You don't need to escape the A in the regex, are you trying to match a literal A?
