Can't open app on iPhone #410
This issue has existed for a long time, it was never fixed and it is problematic for me now. It happens infrequently, sometimes once in every 10 times I try to open the app, sometimes every other time. I have spent hours trying to figure out under which circumstances it happens, but to no avail. It seems random. I have reinstalled the app, even on a new iPhone... no difference.
I have set Standard Notes to require fingerprint "Immediately". When I reopen the app, after I have used some other app for a moment, I get to the screen where I need to use Touch ID. It then says "Fingerprint Successful" and that's it. I can't get beyond that screen without force quitting the app.
This is so annoying because I am switching back and forth to other apps a lot in order to look something up...
Can you please fix this? It's a really old bug... ;-)
Hmm, interesting. The good news is that I'm currently in the middle of a huge new update for mobile, and I think the new methods we're using to handle screen presentation will take care of this. The old method caused various problems for various reasons. Look out for the 3.0 update sometime in the next month or so.
Yes, go go go!!! :-)…
