sync thru dropbox or onedrive? #680

Would it be possible to sync thru a cloud service we already use instead of SN's servers? In my paranoid mind it seems safer. Perhaps that's not true?

Your notes will always be synced to SN's servers, but you can also sync them to other cloud services via the CloudLink extension. After intalling it via the Extensions menu, you can enable daily backups to selected cloud services like Google Drive or Dropbox. See this help post for more info:

Though of course, the devs would assure you that your notes are perfectly safe in SN's servers, since they're always encrypted locally on your device right before being sent/synced anywhere else. Even if someone were to tap into their servers or your device, they won't be able to decrypt and access your notes because only you know the passcode.
