Installed the exporter addon in latest version of Statamic 1 (v1.11.1), and the export gave me a JSON output. Hurray!

Installed a fresh copy of Statamic v2 (v.16 beta) and pasted the content of the export, and hit the button. After 10 mins, still nothing has happened, and not a single file is created in either assets or site/content/pages or site/content/collections.

Please wait...

Do you see an error in your Network tab? This whole process happens via AJAX so if there's a problem, that's where it's gonna be shown at the moment.

You mean in developer tools? Have a look at the screen shot attached.

Yup that's the one. Click on the red Statamic request and see if you can get the full error message.

Ah, you have debug mode disabled. That's fine. Instead, go to your log file and see what it says.

Turned debug mode on, and tried again. Have a look at these screen shots.

Do you use taxonomies in v1?

No, I don't think so.

Looks like that's the issue. (Obviously not your fault)

Will it work out if I set up some "dummy" taxonomies?

If you want to get it to work right now, yeah, that'll probably do it. Even just one.

I will try it out. Thanks for insanely quick response!

Tried adding a couple of taxonomies, and then the import seemed to work fine. But when checking the file structure afterwords, I discovered only the first level of content where added:

01-folder (this was added)
    01-folder (this was not added)
02-folder (this was added)
    01-folder (this was not added)

And only the variables where included in the page.md (title, _template, id etc. - no actual content)

Closing as I believe this has been addressed. Let us know if that's not the case.
