investigate/fix theming issues #171
Description
There are issues with the theming currently where custom values won't be passed down to addons. Additionally types for emotion were greatly improved in v11.
- update emotion to v11 or get rid of it
- verify if the issue Themed values from emotion styled components are not working on on-device knobs #114 is resolved or not
- if updating emotion doesn't work consider whether a custom solution would be valuable.
