I'm proposing this rather than asking a question about the license. I wasn't able to find an ee directory in the repo (maybe I missed it!) so I thought this might help you.

This makes total sense, thank you, @JoeMurray, for your contribution! To give you a bit of context, this file hasn't been touched in… years 😅 and it dates back from a time where the Strapi documentation and software lived under the same repository. You're right, everything in the strapi/documentation repository is under a MIT license and there's no "EE" (Entreprise Edition) folder in the docs. I'm merging this PR right now. It should be live on docs.strapi.io in a few minutes, and will be mentioned in the next weekly snapshot release. |

Just wondering why MIT Expat instead of MIT as the name? https://opensource.org/license/MIT Seems not to be used as much as the name: |

I'll ask the people in charge of deciding about the licenses and will let you know 😊 |

MIT and MIT Expat are the same thing, there are other types of MIT licenses and Expat just legally clarifies that it's the original MIT licenses: https://www.tldrlegal.com/license/mit-license |
I'm proposing this rather than asking a question about the license. I wasn't able to find an ee directory in the repo (maybe I missed it!) so I thought this might help you. Feel free to reject if there is some stuff licensed under ee/LICENSE .
