Locale is not correctly set on a translated content

Describe the bug

Let admit that we have a collection : Article

With one article in english and his translation in french. When I want to see the french translation in article view, the locale option is not correctly set. And If I want to correct this, It creates another article.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. /admin/plugins/content-manager/collectionType/application::article.article?page=1&pageSize=10&_sort=title:ASC&plugins[i18n][locale]=en
2. Change locale to fr
3. Click on the french article
4. the locale is not correctly set on the select menu
5. set the locale to french -> BOOM

Expected behavior

• A locale correctly set
• No new article in french

System

• Node.js : v14.17.0
• NPM version: 6.14.13
• Strapi version: 3.6.3
• Database: postgres
• Operating system: Linux and windows

Hi @blb78 I'm not quite sure I understand the bug you are describing. Is it possible you could record a small video using something like Loom or include some screenshots to describe what you mean?

I'm still not quite sure what you are referring to, the slug in the Spanish entry should update as you type out the title. Unless you are referring to the language of the Admin interface?

Hi @derrickmehaffy ,
I have notice that your url's parameter are differents when you click on the french article
You have something like : /admin/plugins/content-manager/collectionType/application::article.article/2?plugins[i18n][locale]=fr

But mine is like that : /admin/plugins/content-manager/collectionType/application::article.article/2

I dont have the locale's parameter, and I don't know why.

@blb78 it might be because you don't have the permission to see any locale on your article collection type.

I'm closing this issue because I think it doesn't come from strapi. I suspect a plugin (strapi preview content) but I have to confirm it.
