Unable to install strapi

Describe the bug

I am unable to install strapi. I went to the getting started page and copied the command:

npx create-strapi-app my-project --quickstart

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. Go to https://strapi.io/documentation/developer-docs/latest/getting-started/quick-start.html#_1-install-strapi-and-create-a-new-project
2. Copy and use the installation command.

Hi @M0hammedImran could you share what database you're using/trying to use for the project?

I have no idea, but as far as I read, SQLite is default when I use --quickstart.
When I install strapi initially, it will build and start the server. And this error occurs right after installation when the server starts.

This shouldn't even be possible, the connection pooling code shouldn't even be called on SQLite (I use Linux Mint 20.1 and regularly test on Ubuntu 20.04)

I can't reproduce this at all, so this almost certainly has to be an environment issue. Can you provide any more information about your environment?

I have the exactly same problem on same environment, but in my case it's WSL2 on win10 with clear official(from Microsoft Store) Ubuntu 20.04

Checked on another PC and all work fine. I think in my case it's a hardware problem with old AMD virtualization on AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 955, becouse it's a key difference between two PCs.

Installed strapi directly on Windows 10 with current node.js LTS and all works fine! So, I think In my case it's WSL2+old AMD processor problem.

That seems likely as I've tested on multiple systems (Including my Windows system):

Primary system (Linux Mint 20): AMD Threadripper 1950x
Windows system (Windows 10 + WSL1 + WSL2): AMD Ryzen 2700x
Macbook Pro (macOS Catalina): Intel i5-1038NG7
Virtual Machine Hosts (Various OSes including Windows & Linux): Intel Xeon E5-2660v3

None of which I could reproduce on (I think I spun up about 10 different virtual machines with various OSes and configurations). So the common issue would be your 12 year old CPU.

Both have the same problem.

When I create a new strapi app it installs all the dependencies and then starts the app for the first time. This error occurred.

After it existed out with exit code 1. I manually started it again and its working fine.

🤔 I don't even understand how that's possible, the code within Knex that's responsible for setting up the connection pool isn't even called when using SQLite.

Is there a debug mode that I use to give you more info while run the script.

Honestly even a recorded video on something like Loom would be helpful because I have tested numerous different environments and cannot replicate it.
