I already have something that uses port :8090, so I can't use this plugin without figuring out how to change the port.

+1 I second that :)

Seems, the port is hardcoded into the plugin?

👍 All the way, since I have a project which uses 8090. For now I'm going to modify the plugin to use a less common port.

Edit: I tried changing the port in the plugin, but that didn't make a difference, it still used localhost:8090. So the actual port is chosen from the npm package instant-markdown-d which this plugin is dependent on.
