Preferences missing Editor Argument Format on macOS

Description

As seen in #525, macOS does not have the Editor Argument Format option available.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. open Preferences on macOS
2. go to Advanced tab

Expected behavior

UI based Editor Argument Format setting support.
