Multi row tabs

Problem description

When I want to work on multiple files the tab bar is becoming unusable. We must choose between enabling tab_scrolling which make most of the tab unreachable on one click, or disabling it and then the tabs names are hidden.
This is especially annoying when working on small screens.

Preferred solution

The option to allow several rows of tabs would fix this.

Modules could do that in ST2 but they don't work on ST3 anymore.

I only use Sublime Text because of it's lightning speed, and I would love to see this feature coming back, vanilla or in a module.

Thanks for the link, I tried this method before, but the result is clunky : the other tabbar are linked to a hidden "layout", so there are several tabs selected (one on each row), you need to manually move your tabs and the row order is changing when selecting another row.

Notepadd++ does it well natively (Preferences > Tab Bar > Multi-line), when one bar is full a new one is created, which is the continuation of the previous one (you can use Ctrl+Shift+Tab to switch to the previous tab on the previous row) :

Tab management is my biggest pain point as a daily Sublime user. I strongly support multi-row tabs or even scrolled tabs. They just get so small that I can only see the first letter of each file, or none at all. Hopefully this makes it into ST5.
