local and remote events not firing with connect/listen #101

With the following example:

On the server.js side, the events for local and remote never fire.

However they work fine when streams are involved:

I'm having the same issue... I'm not getting any events on the browser side.

I can see it connect in firebug and the serverside log, but none of the alerts ever fire, except for the 'end,' which briefly appears when you refresh the page or press stop. This would be an awesome framework, but I can't seem to get it to work.

Me too. Same as tanpiper: server events don't fire with var d = dnode({}).connect(PORT); d.on..., only with the explicit net.createServer method. Client events work fine for me.

This bit of sugar not working isn't such a big deal, but it took me a while to realize what was going on, perhaps a note on the readme would help.
