Simple type seems to be required, but shouldn't be. Code will tell you more. Difference is the 'a' attribute with a simple type (and a ref to it).

// Works
disorder({
    a: 1,
    test1: function(a) {
      return 'test1';
    },
    test2: function(test1) {
      return 'test2';
    },
    test3: function(test2, test1) {
      return console.log(arguments);
    }
  })
// Doesn't work
disorder({
    test1: function() {
      return 'test1';
    },
    test2: function(test1) {
      return 'test2';
    },
    test3: function(test2, test1) {
      return console.log(arguments);
    }
  })
