fix: do not remove $ when env variable not found #32

If I have command like grep "xy$", the dollar sign gets parsed as an environment variable.

Thanks for the PR! This patch also changes grep "xy$NONEXISTENT_VAR" to grep "xy$", but that should output grep "xy". I know it's been a while, but would you still be interested in updating it to that behaviour?
