Some editors use crtl+k and ctrl+y for killing and yanking lines.
This is pretty useful for people who don't like to use the mouse to select a line, copy and paste it.
Is it possible to implement this behaviour in the the new IDE? Other usual commands are functioning already (ctrl+a, ctrl+e for moving to the start and end of a line). It would be very useful to keep this behavious which was present in the SCAPP and for people used to this commands on other different editors (emacs, text edit, etc...). It makes reorganizing code and duplicating lines for live coding much easier ;)

Did you know we already have special actions for moving lines up/down, and duplicating them up/down?
Default shortcuts: C-Alt-Up/Down and C-Shift-Up/Down
Check menu "Edit>Preferences>Shortcuts" for a list of all possible actions and their shortcuts.

Oh, I see, that's nice! I'm really linking the IDE :) but is there anything against the ctrl+k/ctrl+y commands? it's quite a standard behaviour... at least in the editors I use. keep up the good work :)

I think it's a good idea, a multi-line kill stack...
I'm not sure it will make it into 3.6 though... we're in beta state, and struggling to fix the bugs that are left before final release...

@rukano

Ok. Is just a suggestion. Doesn't have to be immediate.

@seansay
