While previously I could use SoqlX to search for all objects that have the searched string in either the object name, or in any of the field names of any object, as of now SoqlX only shows a short list of objects that have a match with its object name.

How can I change the behaviour to as it was? Urgently needed....

Thank you!

Looks like the background describe isn't getting triggered, if the object has already been described for something else (like the schema view),then fields from those objects will appear, but doing the filtering doesn't trigger doing any missing describes. One work-around would be to goto the schema view of User first (which'll pretty much describe everything) then the filtering should find fields.
