[BUG]: date x-axis incorrectly labelled in Interval transform example

In the first example in the docs for the Interval transform, all the x-axis ticks are labelled with the abbreviated month name (Mar/Apr/May):

I'd expect them to be labelled with the day number, as in the corresponding example in the Observable Plot docs:
