In the lesson, we state that

In future examples, we’ve used Mac output as the default - Linux and Windows output may differ slightly, but should be generally similar.

but https://github.com/swcarpentry/shell-novice/blob/gh-pages/fig/filesystem.svg has a mix of macOS and Linux as far as I can tell. macOS should have Applications instead of bin.

I'm inclined to just remove mentions of proprietary systems and say "your output may slightly differ due to your exact system"

Should we move to use a Linux like file system for the examples considering that in the future we might want to use some tool to run the commands and copy the output into the lesson and we will probably run in in a Linux box?
