Was wondering the same thing. Perhaps update the news and change downloads/releases sections point to GitHub?

When one performs an internet search for "swh plugins", the old site still shows up as the first result so projects that historically used the plugins site for getting updates may never know about the upstream changes. This is all speculative of course. :)

As Tres says. You could announce that the LADSPA repository has moved to github and that the latest code there has fixed the Mac problem. Otherwise most folk will click "Download", click "0.4.15" and see nothing since 2007.

Also on your http://plugin.org.uk/download.php the link to "snapshots directory" says I don't have permission.
