We don't have tests that look at the instance address on the Swift side, but lldb is going to use this API shortly.

This cherry-picks a couple of patches to 5.1 that are needed by apple/swift-lldb#1377. Sorry for the lousy commit messages -- the changes fix two different bugs at different points in time.
